Cindy Clampitt was born and raised in Bay City, Texas, a small town near the coast. She moved to Austin in order to attend The University of Texas in Austin and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Choral Music Education, in addition to a Performance Certificate. She stayed in Austin, later moving to Hutto and currently resides in Round Rock, Texas, with her husband, John Clampitt, and their 3 pets, Minnie, Jackson, and Luna. They own a small roofing company, Cardinal Roofing & Exteriors, which serves the Central Texas and Hill Country areas.
